The original idea for this project was to show a girl getting pierced by some form of projectile. It was going to start with the head but that would be too graphic for my taste. So instead i went with the idea of a body shot to where the soul has become pierced. Out of the pierce mark would flood out her thoughts and creations.
I came up with this by first starting with the girl. I then went onto how water reacts as if it was held into a container and was suddenly let go. after i did this i began to sketch the leading elements of the creations, the prime one being the dragon which represents the symbol of power for her creations. I made her black and white lacking any color to emphasize the background and her creations which symbolize how someone as normal and boring looking can hold a colorful mind with them.
I used a lot of color for this. Not only for blending and mixing but as darkened lines for auras seeping out from her body. I used movement for her body and hair as if she was falling backwards and which way her hair would go if someone fell backwards. I used a little bit of shading when it came to the dragons wings and the horse to add a little emphasis.
The story isn't much. Its basically describing anyone among us as boring and black and white as all of us can hold many ideas that could change the world. It could also mean that nothing is seen from someone until they're gone, nobody sees what someone is made of until their final moments.
If i could change anything, i would definitely make the background more space like and blend the colors better with the flood of creations.

Visual Narration
Visual Narration
My start idea was to make my character/creature look fierce since it looks like a wingless dragon (a drake). I also wanted it to look like it had a purpose for it action instead of a mindless action. This was also one of my projects i wanted to color instead of leaving it black and white pencil sketching.
I came up with the idea of this creature by thinking of a different layout for a dragon head since most i draw are slim looking and i wanted this one to be a more bulky looking dragon. I also got the idea for this creature by a creature called a Deathclaw from Fallout 4. I started out with the head and continued downwards the body from shoulders to tail. I also gained ideas for a pouncing animation by looking for pictures of cats jumping, more specifically for the back legs portion.
I used line for both the deer and the creature along with the grass. Since i had originally not planned to color it i had darkened the outlinings of the creature to emphasize him. Considering i hadn't drawn the deers hooves i decided to darken and add more variations of green to darken the portion by its feet. I also blended color in the deers fur to give it a variation of color so it looks more colorful than a bland looking brown and white deer. I also strived for movement in the creatures jump so it doesn't look as if hes floating in the air. Another thing i used was Proportion so it isnt a lopsided drake.
This was a creature i have been thinking of for a while and i imagined it being a ferocious demon. Since it has recently escaped captivity it still has its chain links around its arms and legs. It now has freedom to act like any normal beast. So the first priority any beast on this earth has, is to eat. It just so happens the deer is the first thing he sees.
If there was anything i could fix, it would probably be the scenery. The stone mountainous wall on the right could probably be edited. The scenery could probably edited to make a more sensible area than just a rock wall and suddenly a field of grass.
